Charles E. Reiter III

Charles E. Reiter III is a founding partner of Reiter Burns LLP. His wide-ranging healthcare experience includes serving as general counsel and corporate secretary of a major academic medical center and a large faculty practice corporation, as well as a community hospital. He has managed self-insurance, claims management, risk management, corporate compliance, internal audit and quality improvement programs.

Chuck has many years of experience trying civil lawsuits to juries, representing parties in administrative hearings, as well as briefing and arguing appeals in state and federal courts. He serves as visiting faculty at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine’s Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy and is a frequent national speaker before legal and medical groups on medical staff matters, not-for-profit governance practices, and business transactions.
