Daniel J. Burns

Daniel J. Burns concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation including municipal matters, civil-rights defense, class-action defense, elections-related matters and medical malpractice. His background is in both appellate and trial practice, and he is skilled in drafting briefs and dispositive motions, and conducting depositions. Dan has successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Before joining Reiter Burns, Dan was a staff attorney for the Illinois Appellate Court, First District. He has also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Sharon Johnson Coleman of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Honorable Raymond Jagielski of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
